Hey everyone. Today we’re making juicy chicken gyros. Quick, flavorful, and easy. I’m using tortillas instead of pita bread, and it works perfectly as a soft wrap for this Greek inspired meal. In a bowl, combine to tablespoons lemon juice. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Three cloves garlic minced. One tspoon dried oregano. A/ teaspoon black pepper. A/ teaspoon salt. A half tablespoon paprika. A half tablespoon honey. Optional. Whisk together. [Music] Add the chicken and coat evenly. Use skinless boneless to pounds chicken breast. [Music] Poke the chicken with a fork to help the marinade soak in and boost flavor. [Applause] [Music] Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour or overnight for best flavor. [Music] Add one teaspoon of honey to balance the acidity. Chill until ready to use. [Music] Heat a pan or skillet over mediumigh heat. Grill or cook the chicken breast for 6 or 7 minutes per side or until fully cooked and slightly charred. [Music] Wipe the sides of the pan with damp kitchen paper if needed. [Music] Use a meat thermometer to check dullness for safety. Internal temp should reach 165F or 70% C. Let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips. Chop the lettuce.
