Of course, this happened while cooking making it a challenge to tend the food. I’m going to remove the band today to prepare to replace the sheared bolts, I just need to know what to get. This was originally purchased at a local BGE retailer but I don’t know if they carry little items like this. If I can just get these from Home Depot I can do it but it feels like the bolts at least are specialized for this purpose.

Looking forward to answers

Just replace the entire band- looks like it needs a refresh anyway

  2. Just get a whole new band kit it all looks gnarley.

They sent me new hardware but your band needs to be replaced. I still had a few years of life left in mine and have since switched the whole band setup.

No, that would require new hardware (the band) because the studs have corroded away. Not sure if just that band is available, or if you’d need a whole new hinge kit.

  5. Unfortunately the new band sucks. It is very easy to install, but it does not open nearly as much as the old style band/hinge, making it more difficult to cook and clean. If you think your band and hinge are OK, just replace the nuts and bolts.

That entire band assembly looks held together with hopes and prayers. Time to buy a new set.
