Phew. Although much-delayed, suspended in import limbo in New Jersey, this tightly-packed crate arrived unharmed—and unaccompanied by any import tax bill—at my home in Virginia. Why no tariff-generated fees? No dang idea.
The tally from Portugal Vineyards for 25 tins was around $175, of which $74 was international air freight shipping expense. No sales tax is charged on export sales from European countries, so that’s on the plus side. At just under $7/can delivered, eventually, to me stoop I’m content.
Many of these cans are new to me; quite a few I’ve never even heard of before. The pink Briosa package—that’s skate in a can. I opened that for supper last night, and I’m very happy I bought four of those.

Relieved to hear that it finally arrived! Will look forward to your reviews on these!
Treasure!
How long did it take this time? I think I’ve ordered from them three or four times, the last being back in the spring. The first time or two the tracking number for whatever service they used never worked and you didn’t know anything until it showed up. I think they sent an email back in the summer that they were going to bake the tariff costs into the pricing up front. The shipping costs is a bit of a shock until you average it out per can and realize that you still paid less than if you purchased them from Stateside providers. Also, they have a good bit that doesn’t seem to be available here in the States. I have a can of the ray, but haven”t tried it yet.
