Grandparents worked for British Airways, they found this wine list for the Concorde from 2000. All wines complimentary on board. From DRC to Salon the list is mind blowing.

Impressive. And priceless

omg your grandparents actually found a concorde wine list? that’s so cool! the fact they served drc on a plane is literally insane.
sleepyhaus
Wow. I’d just be pounding champagne then the DRC, maybe a glass of Leflaive in between. So much killer Champagne on that list though.
RedColdChiliPepper
Unreal
czardmitri
A tawny with a vintage?
Jealous-Breakfast-86
I’m not sure I’d even make it past the champagne. Wow.
wogawoga
Wow….. I’d be delightfully wasted by arrival.
CunningWizard
That’s an insane list.

Holy wine bottles Batman, that must have added some weight to the plane!
Inevitablykinda
Could you please ask the pilot to slow down a few hundred knots?
carcassus
Only disadvantage is that one needs to drink fast. That plane was a rocket.
KeeverDriveCook
Geezus. Not a dog in that list.
I’d love to do a test how different Champagnes taste in flight vs on the ground.
Nyungwe23
Exceptional list- unimaginable on a plane in international first class today.
Steamed-Hams
Some real bangers in here. Can they slow the plane down to give me time to taste them all?
crispr-dev
I hate to use a spit glass on any of these but I also don’t know if I can handle not having a glass of each.

What have they done to us

I flew Concorde in 1993. I do not remember the wine list being this long. There could be 2 contrasting reasons for that I suppose…

Bejesus! How could you drink when plastered to your seat? That shows true enshitterfication of wine on flights. I’m flying on Sunday and only expecting undrinkable donkeys did wine.
No_Clock_9211
Shame it was a short flight. 😆
goodguy847
Would it have been wrong of me to ask them to slow down so the ride takes longer?
casman5
Dumb question but what is DRC.. I’ve heard of it but never know exactly what bottle it is ? Don’t kill me for this question guys lol
Redditholio
I’d be wishing for a slower flight.
West_Bookkeeper9431
Hell of a list.

I flew the Concorde roundtrip from NYC to Paris in May 1980, accompanying my dad on a business trip. I was only 16 but did get wine on the flight. I don’t remember what I drank, but the beef dish they served was great.
I did get a bunch of Concorde swag, including this bottle opener, which I still have and use regularly.
An incredible list, but the port feels like a big step down compared to everything else there. Why not have d’Yquem, top-level Aszú Tokaji or Vin de Constance for example? Old Madeira, or proper vintage Port?
