




So I followed a mix of what everyone said… I trimmed them, rubbed them in kinders, let em sit in fridge over night, threw them on the smoker until they hit about 130’, then I cranked up the blackstone with a hefty amount of butter and seared each side 1minute. Cut em up and everyone ranted and raved about them then I told everyone it was deer 😆. They couldn’t believe it!

I didn’t comment on your first post, but when I read how you were going to use them in chili, I was thinking “Why???”. I’m glad you took the advice and made good use of the best cut from a deer!
That’s awesome. I did pretty much the same thing several years ago just to prove to friends and family that Venison rocks!!
