Love the packaging as I’m a sucker for good product design but wow the quality is great too! It tastes so meaty and fresh, more like a restaurant quality dish than tinned fish. The sun gold tomato olive oil based sauce is definitely a great pairing for the mackerel and makes me want to create more sauces like this myself for fish dishes. Overall a great product that I enjoyed the novelty of ✌🏻

Crazy how long a product like this can take from start to finish. I posted about these 7 months ago when Brad Leone put out the video with Island Creek. Glad to see it was worth the wait!
I’m waiting for mine to arrive. They are too expensive for regular noshing, but I look at it the same way I do with buying their canned clams, a small investment in the first new east coast cannery in years.
I’m sooooo excited to try it
Thx for sharing the lemon aioli recipe. I saved it. I’m going to make it!
Is mackerel super fishy tasting? I’m trying to get into the tinned fish game and start eating more fish but I can’t hang with the overly fishy ones yet
Just saw an ad for this on Instagram yesterday! I didn’t know Brad was in the canned fish game now. I love his videos, glad to see someone’s already tried it out and enjoyed it. Ya never know how those celebrity food colabs go lol. I’ll have to look into ordering some now!
Neat! I don’t normally watch him, but cool he’s got some ‘dines. I sadly probably won’t be able to try them being in Canada, but glad you enjoyed them though!
Also there’s a typo in the “Method” section:
“In a bowl, season *the the* fennel with Parsley…”
Doesn’t matter if the sardines are good, but you think they’d have caught that
Did you have to pay extra for the stickers, or were the included? I have a mad crush on brad, so a picture of him holding a fish, is the eye candy I need on my water bottle.
Whoa, these look incredible. Still waiting for mine to arrive. Quite excited.
did not know Brad has Mackerel
