On Sep 11, ‘22, my wife and I hopped down to the Gulf for a little getaway and while we were there ate at this joint called Pier House. The food was spectacular, but honestly the most memorable thing was their signature hot sauce. I snagged a bottle before we left and pretty much devoured it over the next couple of weeks. Then I found out the restaurant closed down…not really surprising since we were the only table occupied in the whole place. It sucks though because it was really good food. And the hot sauce was fantastic. It was your basic carrot based sauce, not too hot but just the right amount of kick. I wish I could find some of that sauce again.
