Simple and effective. I brushed the halloumi and the bread with garlic powder and olive oil prior to grilling. It did need some acid/tang. Pepperoncinis will go on next time.

I’ve been pan frying the Halloumi for a while now and find that it is practically tasteless, great tooth and chew when added to a dish but need to add liberal salt or some other spice mixture to give it more character than just relying on its texture. Any others have a favorite tweak for halloumi to make it pop more?
