Thanks to this sub’s guidance I found a Genesis S320 for $50 on marketplace a few weeks back. It has a few cosmetic blemishes, but after cleaning all the crud out of the ash catcher it’s pretty much perfect otherwise.
Seems like it’s been out in the elements for most of its life but with it being all stainless, rust is pretty minimal. The grates are pretty sooty, I need to hit this with some barkeeper’s friend and I think it’ll be looking great after that. Happy grilling

Congrats on your new “sidewinder”!
Is there a sticker inside of the cabinet that contains the serial number? That’ll help pinpoint the year of manufacture.
Everything else, from your description, sounds minimal and do-able.
