Absolutely cannot believe I am still getting Serrano, hot lemons and Thai chillies outdoors in the U.K. in November. Plus superhots from an unheated polytunnel, seems the season has just extended by a month in the last few years!

  1. Whereabout in the UK are you? I’m still getting the last few ripening up in a conservatory in Devon, but I don’t think they’re gonna survive much longer!

Leicestershire, so a fair way north of Devon! I think the hedges around my allotment have bought me a few weeks more though by providing shelter for the outdoor plants. If I’m honest, I wish the ghosts and Armageddon in the poly tunnel would give up the bloody fight now, I’m overwhelmed!

London here and I’m still getting pods outdoors ripening. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m still harvesting at the start of December this year given how mild it has been.

I’m still harvesting in Birmingham, about half my plants have been removed completely now thought

I had an absolute shit year for growing up here in Scotland. Seedlings started off great in propogater and under the lights, started them them in Jan but a lot off them started to flower too early. Strange as I had a bumper crop last year and the weather was crap.
