Indulge in buzzy beverages at the bar

With renowned restaurants across the area (think Scarpetta, American Cut, LDV at the Maidstone), it’s safe to say you have been wined and dined by LDV Hospitality. Now, founder John Meadow and partner Avery Britton are turning up the heat in Manhattan’s culinary scene with their latest venture, Barlume. This vibrant new hot spot reimagines dining with a Mediterranean flair, drawing inspiration from the sun-soaked coastal regions of Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera and Spain’s Costa Brava.

Barlume offers three levels of dining experiences that seamlessly combine culinary artistry with the electric energy of NYC. The café transitions from a welcoming breakfast spot to a vibrant evening wine bar, offering a curated selection of wines and aperitifs chosen by LDV’s wine director, Alessio de Sensi. At the heart of Barlume, the main dining room features a menu crafted by chef Juan Vazquez that highlights natural ingredients and coastal-inspired flavors. Savor the moment with fresh seafood, local crudos and housemade focaccia and pasta. For a more intimate evening, Barlume Downstairs offers a hidden retreat with expertly crafted cocktails and light snacks, creating the perfect setting for a sophisticated night out.
