Nice!!! If you prepped iit almost the same-don't flatten out the pork, maybe a little extra apple, and threw it into a crock pot on low (or high, depending on when you wanted to eat it lol) the apples would be almost a sauce (still salt & pepper-be adventurous!!! A bit of cinnamon or apple pie spice!!!). You can brown the bacon whenever, throw a tsp (or whatever makes your heart happy 😊) of the grease in, and after you dish up, top with the bacon! Broccoli is my fave!! (OMG have you tried it in an air fryer with a spritz of oil & "shaker" (that's what my kids call it 🤣) cheese????) Or even a baked potato on the bottom, smooshed with butter, salt, pepper. Add the pork & apples, add broccoli (you could do one side broccoli, one side pork & apples!!)–I'm a type 2 diabetic, so I'd go with a sweet potato because apparently even though sweet is in the name, it's better for me than a white potato but that looks amazing!!!! (I've also got a health issue where standing even for 10min to make dinner is 5min too long, but I can eek out enough time to throw into a crock pot) Love your recipe–AND now that I see that I can adapt it to my needs (there are some that are a lost cause. Then my hubby gets involved and shrimp scampi turns into pepperoni pizza. 🤣 That I don't eat. LOL after 39yrs, you'd think he would remember!!!! ❤ Anyways, I subscribed!!!
