EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — West Franklin Street hosted the first annual FSEA Chili Cook Off on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event coincided with the Veterans Day Parade and aimed to honor veterans while supporting local nonprofit organizations.
Event organizers said the cook off was similar to the Gumbo Cookoff held during Mardi Gras, featuring the same setup and judging process.
Winners of the cook off included Chemo Buddies in first place for nonprofits, followed by Granted and ITV. In the business category, Buds took first place, with Six Strings and Sportsmans coming in second and third.
44News will provide coverage of the event at 10 p.m.
