Yes! It also works with the plastic mayo lids and the lids on wowbutter and sun butter for regular mouth jars of all sizes.

I’ve been buying those fancy ball lids for these when I can just reuse garbage. Thank you for sharing this!!

There isn’t much variation in opening/lid threads and sizes. There is a lot of compatibility

Lids are standardized for the most part. Done so by GPI
    https://www.gpi.org/

Any 70-450 lid will work. 70-400 are the shorter ones that are also 70mm wide.

Spray bottles tend to use 28-400 or 28-410

No way????? Omg this is gonna change my life!!

Not to be rude but those marbles are a choking hazard for a child that small, even supervised they could easily slip one in their mouth unnoticed.

  8. I always buy the big 28oz peanut butter jars, whose lids do not fit wide mouth Mason jars, but just barely.

*Which* peanut butter? Not the one I have

    Here’s one that’ll get ya.

Lots of jars fit on older blenders. Yeah.

Pretty sure this was the inspiration for the “magic bullet”

A grated parm lid also fits on them 🙂

So do the Shaker tops from parmesan cheese! I use a Shaker to scatter seeds in the garden mixed with a little sand so you can see where you already shook seeds out.

You can also purchase(cheap) wide mouth and regular mouth lids at Wally World or Amazon!

This is why I save one of each kind of lid and spray bottle nozzle. You don’t know how many times I’ve had one go missing or break, and I’m saved by the backup.

So do mayo jar lids and the lids from Parmesan jars. And they fit all standard size Mason jars. Not the wide mouth, though.

Haha, my mom in law has been doing this for years! I did for a while, then found the dark grey plastic Ball lids on sale and splurged on those. I also love the metal one piece Ball lids with the removable silicone gasket!

The lid from the Kirkland pesto at Costco also fits perfectly!

Don’t let a baby play with marbles. Good story about the lids but like don’t do this for internet clout. You’re an idiot for putting your kid in danger for the Lolz
