The holiday season is officially here, and with it comes an influx of festive dinner parties, intimate gatherings with family and friends, and plenty of opportunities to whip out your favorite holiday recipes.

But let’s be real: It’s tough to spend all day prepping food when there are parties to plan, gifts to wrap, and people to see. That’s why we love clever store-bought shortcuts that save time (and sanity), but still make you look like a rock star in the kitchen.

Trader Joe’s latest release is one such product. It’s a creamy, dreamy, spread that’s a fun spin on one of the most retro appetizers ever. And shoppers are already obsessed. “They were sampling this at my TJ’s and everyone was grabbing one!” shared one fan on Instagram.

It would make the perfect addition to a meat and cheese board, but it’s also special enough to shine all on its own. But, like so many of TJ’s wonderful treats, it won’t be around forever.

Trader Joe’s New Totally Cheeseball Cheese Spread

Trader Joe’s

Inspired by one of the most iconic vintage appetizers of all time—the cheese ball—Trader Joe’s latest dip has all the spirit (and tasty ingredients) of the beloved dish, but with none of the hassle.

The Trader Joe’s Totally Cheeseball Cheese Spread is touted as an “elevated play on the retro cheese ball” and combines two of Trader Joe’s most beloved cheeses: Unexpected Cheddar and Syrah Toscano. Plus, you’ll find all the common cheese ball add-ins, such as almonds, garlic, and herbs, mixed right into the dip.

“Dreams come true,” said one Trader Joe’s fan. Another shopper said they already “have four containers of that in my fridge,” and that the new cheese spread is “sooooo good!”

This new product would be a great addition to any meat and cheese board, or alongside your favorite holiday appetizers. Trader Joe’s even recommends adding some of this spread to a turkey sandwich, which sounds incredible for Thanksgiving leftovers!

Nine-ounce containers of Totally Cheeseball Cheese Spread are now available at Trader Joe’s for $4.99—but only for a limited time. Pick up a few on your next visit and keep them handy for all your upcoming holiday shindigs and dinners.
