    Looks like something Klingons eat.

Are those live animals skinned and on a grill? That’s not just stupid, it’s horrifyingly cruel. Fuck that shit.

    Those are obviously graboid tentacles.

It’s weird, but if you choose to eat meat you should know where it comes from. Im not against kids learning this. I’m not a vegan by any means, but I feel that you should acknowledge that the meat you’re eating was once part of a living thing. Accept it, so that you can appreciate it and not waste it.

Not stupid at all, Korean are famous for their seafood. Eating raw and cooking live seafood has been around long before processing plants. People travel next to sea for seafood restaurants, they skip the supply chain of processing plants and distributors.

I thought it was octopus tentacles which are so delicious, but now idk what they are, I’d still try it but I’d like to know what I put in my mouth before I put it in my mouth, I’ve gotten picky in my old age

That just means the meat is fresh, its not alive, just still has energy in the muscles

Looks like snake maybe? They’ll do that for awhile after ya cut the heads off of them

    Good eating though regardless

For people who think it’s torture, the hagfish is not alive, it’s nervous system is just reacting to heat after death. Also it’s really tasty

  16. Jimmy_Twotone

All the people in the comments saying it’s alive when it’s all clearly missing a head… smh

    Not stupid food.

For those confused/outraged, those are **dead** eels. They are fresh, so there are still muscular spasms, no pain at all. It’s the same as when a beheaded chicken keeps running, or a spider curling its legs right after dying.

It also happens with fishes which “look alive” and are still moving right after cooking.

It’s delicious though, legit it really tasty

I’m a korean. Marinated ones look better. I won’t eat that either. Also, that’s a special snack that goes with an alcohol, not a child food. We eat that for texture, not taste or visual.
