Saw another post about a $18 “steal” at Denny’s. This is Dagwoods in Lansing, MI – what I consider a steal.

Wow, as long as the food was good you stole from them.

I went to Red Robin’s today and paid $20 or a jalapeño burger….😑

That was the Monday night burgers special at my favorite bar, eighteen years ago. So envious right now.

Never thought I’d see a picture of Dags in Lansing on here. One of my favorite places on earth, once I saw the mug of beer and green and white checked wax paper I knew where it was. Fuck yeah

Michigan has some great burgers. I have fond memories of cheap and tasty burgers at Telway in Detroit and Miller’s Bar in Dearborn. The Midwest knows how to do it right!

What helped me through the semester that I was doing full time work and full time school was the bar that had burger, fries and a pint for $5. Probably would’ve dropped out otherwise.

Yeah….but you have to live in Lansing. It’s $7.50 for a reason and it’s not because its5 a deal.

Now thats a deal considering thats what a fast food burger costs now without fries or a drink. Burger and fries look better than fast food too

  9. Holy shit! I called it! How the hell did I call it! I’m from fuckin Tennessee and this is one of two places my brother showed me when I visited him there.

Damn, I pay $7-8 for a domestic light (without a burger or fries)

Thank you for the ketchup cup for a size comparison. You got a great deal, but the size portions here are comically small for USA standards. I’ll get a triple of your order. Cheers!

  12. Someone find the guy who paid $18 at Denny’s for a lousy burger and 14 French fries. He even had to walk to a gas station to get a $1 soda.

Tell him this is what a deal looks like. This looks great.
