Caffe Panna: Coconut Seven Layer Bar

I remember I used to buy the Ben & Jerry’s Coconut Seven Layer Bar non dairy flavor just for the incredible amount of mix ins!

This one is absolutely delicious but it’s missing one big element.

The coconut ice cream is great. The butterscotch flavor is prevalent in every bite. The chocolate chips are everywhere.

The caramel all sunk to the bottom. It’s salty and delicious when you get it.

My #1 favorite part of the seven layer bar is the gritty Graham that holds it all together. I could not taste or detect any Graham in this pint. I don’t know why they decided to make the Graham fused with the caramel swirl but they did a terrible job of that.

Perhaps the amount of real estate is very limited and they tried to do everything they could to get all 7 layers into the pint. It didn’t work and I really missed the Graham here.

Everything about this is delicious but I walk away tonight disappointed missing an essential element of a classic 7 layer bar. Thus, I can’t recommend this flavor
