Y'all's bentos have had me dreaming of my summer lunches. General life chaos has kept me living on ramen (with its consequences) and the occasional sandwich for a couple months. Soon enough, though, I'll be back to leftovers, onigiri, and clever little grocery store ready-to-go additions. If only peach season wasn't over! Even for the donut peaches, a taller bento makes all the difference fitting things in. (And a cute bento box with cute cups in a cute furoshiki really does increase the anticipation.)

Thanks to everyone who posts their bentos – y'all really are inspiring and got me enjoying the process of making mine just as much as eating them.

    a whole peach hits hard. i usually cut in slices and peel the skin so that I won’t consume chemicals.
