These fish crocketts are such a treat. Kids and adults in our family adore them and for good reason. The preparation is simple and you can easily serve them as a main dish or appetizer. First, cook the potatoes until soft. Drain the canned macarel and sardines. We’re using our local brand Eva. Mash the potatoes in a large bowl. Then add the drained fish, onion, parsley, lemon, salt, pepper, and axe. That’s all the ingredients we’re going to need. Stir into a smooth and soft mixture using your hands and a spatula. Pour oil in a deep pan and cook over high heat until it reaches 100° C or 350° F. Then gently drop in the fish croats. Don’t overcrowd them. Work in batches. Fry for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with fresh salad, yogurt dip, and lemon wedge. Enjoy.

We have fried fish cubes here in the netherlands but this seems more cost effective and just as nice! What country are you from?
I thought it was falafel 🥙🧆
Hello can we bake these in the oven instead of frying to avoid the oil? Thank you.
