Here’s the full recipe https://mrmakeithappen.com/mashed-potatoes/

Garlic and herb mashed potatoes with extra butter the way the good Lord intended. These are a mustave on your Thanksgiving table. Meet me in the kitchen. Let’s make it happen. All right, first things first. Peel, clean, and chop your Yukon Gold potatoes. Next, we’re going to boil the potatoes and chicken broth to elevate the flavor. Then, we’re going to melt some butter. Add a tablespoon of garlic and sour cream. Followed by some bors and garlic and herb cheese. Add your whole milk. Season that with my AP seasoning and add a little fresh thyme. Bring that to a simmer for about a minute. Then, we’re going to add our Parmesan cheese. Make sure you taste as you go and adjust the flavor to your preference. Your sauce should look something like this. Now, once the potatoes are nice and tender, we’re going to go ahead and drain them and break out the hand masher. Slowly work in that garlic and herb cream sauce until you reach the consistency you’re looking for. Go ahead and plate that up with a little extra butter cuz why the hell not? We’re here for a good time, not a long time. Brace yourself for a trademark money shot. Say it with me, guys. Looking good. All the specific measurements and ingredients are in the caption. Now, it’s your turn to make it happen.

  1. Can you do a series for cooking on a budget? Such as it takes 4 items or less. With so many people needing to go go to a food pantry to get by this month I think the series would be timely and help many! Many blessings and continued success.
