The strawberries will start to leak, and the bacon and eggs will go dry if you leave it that long.
It probably won’t make you sick, but it won’t look or taste good after day 3.
I like to package each food separately with as little air as possible.

This takes food prep a bit far in my opinion. This stuff is all relatively simple and quick to make. I’d make it at most two days in advance and keep separate until the day before.

Wrap them with cellophane instead, letting the air completely out.

For this specific food? No. Strawberries will not stay good that long and the eggs will dry out. I’d cut them both each morning, if possible, or maybe the night before.

For this food? No. Your strawberries will get mushy and run, bacon will get soggy, and eggs will get rubbery. The cheese might also get sweaty. Plus the strawberry juice will give everything a strawberry flavor.
Probably low risk of illness, but it also won’t taste great.

I usually dont. I prep all these things in advanced and put them in their own containers then I put them together the night before or in the morning for the day.

This is rage bait bc whyyyyy would you keep eggs and strawberries together for 5 days .
Bright-Pangolin7261
I would not cut open the eggs. In fact, I’d leave them in the shell for five days. Would leave the strawberries hole even those will start to get soft. And I would wrap up the bacon tight in foil. Exposure to air is what makes things go bad. They might not make you sick, but they may not taste great either.

Bacon and Strawberry melded together could be an interesting flavor profile.

My concerns are: is this enough food that you won’t eat anything else, there is no fiber in this diet, no complex carbs to keep you full, and overall it’s just not a healthy meal. These are all snacks and together are just one big snack.
I know that wasn’t your question. Regardless that’s my input

No dividers between fruit and meat is pretty nasty. It takes 2 seconds to cut strawberries in half. Just do it the day of for freshness. Not really an ideal meal prep combination either for longevity

I wouldn’t cut the eggs. They’ll dry out. I’d pack strawberries uncut as well. They’ll start to leak fluid. I’d keep them each separately and box them for maybe 2 days at a time.

It will be fine, but best quality at that length but you’ll be okay.

Wrap the whole strawberries in something (wax paper, or even just a paper towel) and cut them up right before you eat them. Keep the eggs in their shells. I think you’re good if you do that.

i’d prefer it fresh, it doesnt look like it’d take too long to make

Good for you to post your honesty is refreshing.
When I’m in a rush, foods can get jumbled together in a single container and I might pick at it next few days. I’m rooting for you

The strawberries will break down after day 2, the bacon will be soggy after day 1.
