A new restaurant is bringing a taste of Italy to Brampton that promises guests a “luxury” dining experience.

Amami Italia has officially opened its doors in Brampton with a menu inspired by “a collection of stories, recipes, and moments passed down through generations,” the restaurant’s website reads.

With head chef Gianluca Martinucci hailing from Tuscany, Amami Italia says its dishes are “food that tells a story, made by someone who’s lived every chapter.”

The word Amami means “Love Me” in Italian, and Amami Italia says their name is a promise “to make you feel something the moment you walk in.”

“From pasta to pastry, everything we serve is handmade, heartfelt, and unforgettable,” the restaurant’s website reads.

With a current menu that includes Tagliere Toscano (a traditional Tuscan appetizer board), Zuppa del Giorno (soup of the day), Risotto ai Funghi Porcini (a rice dish cooked with Porcini mushrooms) Ravioli di Mare (a ravioli pasta stuffed with seafood) and more, Amami Italia says its offerings will “evolve seasonally, shaped by passion and produce.”

“We don’t promise perfection. We promise passion. And every time you walk into our restaurant, we promise you’ll leave feeling full not just from the food, but from the experience,” Amami Italia says.

Amami Italia is open at 6261 Mayfield Rd. on Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and again from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The restaurant is open late until 2 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday.
