Pretty dang happy with how it came out for my first try with my starter! I know there’s room for improvement but it tastes delicious. I followed the recipe although I thought my dough after my 1st rise was pretty sticky so would probably add more flour next time.

Perhaps some melted butter on the crust as soon as you take it out the oven to moisten the top?
Beautiful loaf for a first attempt! Sandwich loaves are my go-to these days. They’re so handy, toast it, sandwich it or just tear off a chunk with butter.

Is it soft? Also you can try less water instead of more flour
