I have never seen this method, but instantly like it. I would have to try it out. In theory it seems better but would have to practice. If all are the same size, it seems like consistency wouldn’t be much easier with time and temp cooking.

They don’t do too bad with large poppers either.
I just use the warming rack. Works just as good
