If you go to check on your vegetable garden in the morning and find that you have mushrooms popping up out of your soil, that is great. It’s a sign that your soil is really healthy. So, whatever you’re using, whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. I use a lot of compost in my soil. And so, I know my soil always is in a really good place. I have another mushroom down here. They will pop up from time to time. And if you see this in your garden, just leave them. I find that once the sun comes out and it heats up a little bit in the morning, they just go away. But if you’re coming out in the morning and seeing those, definitely know that you are doing something right.

Ive got them in all 4 of my gardens! I was worrying about my soil quality and seen them and was pleasantly surprised
My yard has mushrooms. I used soil from my yard to pot a little baby propogated plant and it's growing like a weed.
Are these edible or not?
I also have them in my containers. I compost in place, there is always something coming up, which I pick out.. But those mushrooms look very interesting, and they later disappear like you said.
This is great to know! I'm a 3rd year gardener, no previous experience and my yard had everything against me. Bad soil, very few trees, city water, tons of bugs… I've been trying to build up my ecosystem slowly with bird feeders, pollinator plants, garden hose filters, and this year I got a raised bed that i added compost to, to amend the soil. My garden is looking so much better this year! But i saw tons of mushrooms coming up and thought that was another sign of bad soil conditions till i saw your post. Haha thank you!
