Sorry for my bad English Please what is going on, I'm a beginner and I don't know anything about chili peppers. I got a few carolina reaper seed from a friend and I wanted to grow them for fun. The seed actually sprouted and started growing. I just watered them and like 5 minutes after the sprouts started falling and they don't stand strait like the other. Should I worry ?
What do I do, are they gonna die?
I don't know anything this is my first time please help ๐ฅนโฅ๏ธ

Too much water
Leave it alone a few days to dry back understand they can do well for a period of time without water. If you keep frequently watering you are going to kill it.
If you can move them from that pot and put in a new pot being careful not to damage the saplings roots. Use alot less water. Treat that pot with antifungal and reuse later
Way too coarse of a mix for seedlings. Those baby roots need a fine medium to attach to when just starting out. You dump a ton of water on top of them and they are gonna flop right over having no support system. You can try letting them dry out and see if they pop back up or you can gently place them back in an upright position. Watering must be done gently when they are delicate little seedlings. You canโt just dump water on top.
Regardless, the mold growing on top tells me these plants have been kept too wet and youโre probably going to have fungal issues like dampening off.
If you have to start over, use a sterile seed starting mix, water it until the medium is slightly damp, add the seeds, and cover with a bit more seed mix and then gently water it a little more and donโt water again until it dries out.
That compost looks terribly over-wet.Probably the stems have rotted at soil level.
I’m afraid they’ve had it tbh.
Plants are sodden
Put it somewhere warm with air flow. Next time you water use a dilute hydrogen peroxide solution to take care of mold on the surface and to kill off any root rot bacteria that may have taken hold due to the overwatering.
Spray a 1 to 3 solution of 1 part 3% peroxide to 3 parts water to kill the mold. Put your pot onto a clean cloth or folded paper towels to absorb the excess moisture in the soil.
Donโt add any fertilizers until you have at least 2 nodes of true leaves. The first two leaves are not true leaves. I donโt expect that youโll need to water for a while, but if the pot does dry out, only water with the peroxide solution and any time you see the mold coming back. Good luck.๐ค๐ฝโ๐ฝ๐๐๏ธโฏ๏ธโฎ๏ธ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
