COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – WTVM is partnering with several organizations in the Chattahoochee Valley to collect food donations for those in need this holiday season.
All food items and monetary donations will be given to Feeding the Valley and then distributed to people facing food insecurity.
APCU Credit Union has partnered with the station for the food drive. Susan Dupree with the credit union said her team is happy to help feed hungry families.
“It puts a big smile on our face and we are happy to see all of the members and them being excited about bringing in the donations which makes us excited about giving it back to feeding the valley,” Dupree said.
Cardboard donation boxes are located outside Sons Chevrolet of Columbus, Sons Ford of Auburn, and APCU Credit Union on Bradley Parkway. The APCU location at 6270 Bradley Park Drive has a donation box inside the building as soon as visitors walk in.
The station will hold a one-day drop-off event on Nov. 19 where people can bring non-perishable food items to the WTVM station on Wynnton Road.
