With the holidays just around the corner, our calendars are about to fill up fast with family dinners, friends’ get-togethers and seasonal soirees alike. And while we wouldn’t dream of skipping any of the festivities, it’s important not to show up empty-handed.
This week, whether you’re in charge of hors d’oeuvres for a holiday party, hunting for a reliable late-night snack or simply looking to add the finishing touches to a carefully curated charcuterie spread, there’s one place you should check first: Trader Joe’s. While searching for seasonal snacks of my own, I came across an Italian classic still missing from TJ’s site, the $11 Antipasti Platter. As a die-hard charcuterie fan, I couldn’t resist tossing it into my cart, so be sure to follow along if you can relate.

Antipasti Platter, $10.99 at Trader Joe’s

At just $10.99, Trader Joe’s Antipasti Platter is packed with the classics while still leaving room to experiment. It doesn’t offer the full spectrum of charcuterie pieces, but this meat and cheese platter hits all the important bases, making it a worthwhile pickup. Should you be putting the finishing touches on your next holiday spread, maybe consider the potential for elevation by incorporating this offering. And if you’d rather snack from it each night through the week instead, that’s totally fine too!
Filled with provolone cheese, prosciutto, uncured peppered salami, uncured salami nuggets, uncured calabrese nuggets, and a bed of Castelvetrano olives, calling it an Italian-lover’s dream would be an understatement. And after my first bite of each piece, I was instantly converted into a fan.

The provolone is smooth and creamy, balancing the salty, melt-in-your-mouth prosciutto perfectly, while the peppered salami adds a satisfying kick to every bite. The salami and calabrese nuggets are hearty, thick and perfectly spiced, and the Castelvetrano olives bring a briny, buttery pop that ties everything together. If a mini Italian getaway is what you need, this platter and a glass of Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc would go wild.

How to Make the Most of Trader Joe’s Antipasti Platter
Trader Joe’s Antipasti Platter, Detailed Nathan Hutsenpiller
Versatile, simple and delicious, this party platter couldn’t have arrived at a better time with a better mix of flavors. Heavy on protein, it definitely benefits from a few extras to round out the experience, which is where additions like crusty bread, fresh fruit or a drizzle of honey can really elevate every bite. Pair it with your favorite wine or a sparkling beverage, and you’ve got a quick, crowd-pleasing spread that’s ready in minutes.
I personally added Trader Joe’s Chili Onion Hummus on the side with crackers, and it immediately elevated the experience. Next time, I might grab some seasonal jam and a handful of nuts to round out the flavor profile.
If you spot this platter in stock at your local Trader Joe’s, definitely grab it and see what all the fuss is about. You can serve it straight from the plastic tray it comes in, but a good charcuterie board and a thoughtful arrangement will really make it shine. Snatch one up for yourself and get ready to snack on some of the best meats TJ’s has to offer.
