Hello and welcome back to my culinary adventure through the Nordics.

Today we find ourselves on the southern coast of Norway enjoying dinner at this incredibly unique location, Under!

As you can tell from the pictures Under is a restaurant located under water and does an incredible job creating a very ethereal ambiance for it's guest. The very walls are made from a sound dampening fabric that softens all noise and allows their beautiful music to float through the entire space.

The view is second to none especially if you one of the lucky ones that gets to sit at the glass, they very brilliantly used well placed lights that hit the glass to attracts the fish so there is always sea life to observe.

The staff do an excellent job making the night a positive one, they love to explain the reasoning or inspiration beside the courses and in our case the non-alcoholic drink pairings as well.

The food was good, sometimes great, and didn't have any noticeable misses, but I would say their 1 star rating is justified, it's an enjoyable meal but nothing truly extraordinary or something you'll remember after eating there.

Overall though it's such a unique experience it makes the trek and the price tag well worth it!

You mention the price tag: How much did you pay?

very cool. makes me wonder if the chef takes the color of the food more into consideration with the blue-green glow in the dining room
