Amy first trip to Japan was 30 years ago and came back from a 9 days Tokyo trip in June. I have been using Japanese condiments and produce in my cooking for quite some time.
I enjoyed my trip, food and produce there so much, I’m planning a 10-20 days stay in more affordable Airbnb, so I can take it slow, buy produce and cook daily during my stay.

I see a couple dishes that are distinctly Italian, a couple that are influenced, but mostly neither. Tell us more about your aesthetic, your flavor profile, your goals with food.
Everything looks good, btw… just trying to figure you out here.
I’m an Italian-American from New Jersey and I would eat all of this.
Italian food in the Japanese food sub?
Isn’t this a japanese food subreddit? And Im no private chef but some of this looks kinda of mid.
Is that what you call that roadkill, eh?
I jest, I jest…
