Is this cap oil in my zebrange? I licked it and it was similar to touching atleast a scotch bonnet on my tounge.. these are absolutely not meant to be this hot 🤣 or maybe my tolerance just isn't what I thought it was

A couple of my zebrange were sleepers, way hotter than the others. It happens, I think especially with newer varieties like Zebrange they may just be a bit less stable than more traditional peppers (other than jalapeños somehow those will always be unpredictable lol).

My late season peppers were WAY hotter than earlier ones. I learned recently that a drop in Nitrogen can cause stress in a way that causes the boost in heat. The idea tracks because of the changes in my feeding over the late season.
