I added two heaping tablespoons of matcha to my dough. The filling was made by combining ⅓ cup of sugar with 3 heaping teaspoons of matcha powder and and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to add moisture and create a sandy texture.

To make these, I added 3 tablespoons of matcha to my normal yeast sweet roll dough. I experimented with the filling and ended up combining ⅓ cup of sugar with 3 heaping teaspoons of matcha powder and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract to add moisture to create a sandy texture that wouldn’t fall out when I rolled everything into a log and cut them.

I’d so eat these with a white chocolate icing.
Looks so good!!
