Elia, a Mediterranean restaurant specializing in Greek cuisine, is getting ready to open a new location in Campbell at 276 E. Campbell Avenue.
The company’s fourth location is set to move into the former home of Opa!, which closed in fall 2025 following bankruptcy. Renovations are currently underway, and the restaurant is targeting an opening in late January to early February 2026, according to Mercury News. Guests can expect Elia’s signature Mediterranean menu featuring shareable mezethes, seafood dishes, and a full brunch service on weekends.
Founded by co-owner Fatih Ulas and executive chef Mehmet Duygu, Elia first opened in Pleasanton in 2021. A second location followed in Walnut Creek, and the brand’s San Carlos location opened in late 2024 with three private dining rooms, a wine cellar, and nightly live music. The Campbell opening marks the chain’s fourth location in the Bay Area and continues the company’s expansion in the region.
The Campbell restaurant will focus on brunch and full breakfast offerings on Saturdays and Sundays, while maintaining dinner service throughout the week. The location’s renovations are being designed to support both indoor and outdoor seating, private dining, and flexible group arrangements. The location’s downtown Campbell setting positions it for strong foot traffic and accessibility for both locals and visitors.
Elia’s menu features a variety of shareable mezethes, including saganaki and marinated olives, as well as entrées such as lamb chops, octopus, sea bass, and seafood paella. The restaurant emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean flavors inspired by the Aegean coast.
The expansion to Campbell reflects the brand’s commitment to providing a consistent Mediterranean dining experience across its locations, offering casual brunches, weekday lunches, and elevated dinners for a variety of guests. With this fourth location, Elia aims to build on its Bay Area reputation for approachable, high-quality Greek cuisine.
