I brought my italian-american relatives into town from upstate NY & wanted to show them a solid italian-american dinner here. We were incredibly dissapointed.
- This pizza was terrible. It was undercooked and tasted like a freezer pizza from the dollar tree. It was that bad. Unfortunately they only got to try this pizza & an undercooked lou malnati's deep dish from the wrigley building, so they only had bad chicago pizza which is a shame.
- The chicken parm was solid, but I've had better breading on chicken parm from similar restaurants in other cities. Was tenderized well & the sauce was unremarkable, which is a good thing imo. I'll look past the $29 coat of the chicken parm because of the location of the restaurant
- Fettucine alfredo was not as good as the dish they had at eataly the night before, but was passable.
- Soups were incredibly small and unremarkable. Honestly cant remember wgat I had for the soup but it was a small portion size.
Outside of the really cool bar, I dont know why you would bring someone here outside of the ambiance of the place.
