Good gravy! I thought some poor packer had finally lost it, but, no, the ingredient list actually says eight cups of flour. The directions say to “sprinkle” the flour into the gravy. I’m already feeling sorry for the poor soul who unwittingly dumps cups of flour into their gravy. Also got green beans instead of broccoli, which I’m never happy about, but I understand there is a broccoli issue. So, thanks for the flour, I guess? Surely this must be another winning AI move. Don’t be penny wise and pound foolish, Hello Fresh. Maybe leave the pics and recipes to the real-life employees.

8 cups of flour is enough to thicken like 2 gallons of stock
8 cups seems to be for when you double the recipe, otherwise it’s 4 cups. But HF will often send a “whole” packet of something and tell you to use just half as a way to save on packaging I guess. But that does seem to be a big excess of flour since the cookbook section has the meal using 1 tablespoon. So something seems to have gone wrong with the recipe ingredient amount. Did you report it because it does seem like some kind of mistake based on the previous recipe in the cookbook?
As for the broccoli, there are reports of a shortage. Did you get notice there would be a substitution? They subbed in green beans for broccoli for a meal I’m making Sunday and I didn’t see an email. You can report it if you want since you didn’t get what you ordered
How are 8 cups of flour even coming up in the recipe??? I don’t understand
Thats almost 3 loaves of bread
Im guessing they meant tablespoons??
