MOOSIC, Pa. — On Saturday, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Roller Derby hosted guests for a food drive in Lackawanna County.
Those who donated got discounted tickets to see the match between the Electric City Shockers and the Diamond City Mayhem.
Chelsi Heinrich, the PR Chair, said, “We have collected a pretty good amount of donations, and we’ve gotten a ton of participation from the audience and buying into the fun part of the game.”
The food donations collected will go towards the Greater Pittston Food Pantry in Luzerne County.
