🍰 Ingredients:

Cocoa powder 20g (2 and ½ tablespoons)
Plain Flour 200g (1 and ⅓ cups)
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda ⅓ teaspoon
3 Eggs
Brown sugar 150g (¾ cup)
Salted Butter 150g (⅔ cup)
Milk 2-3 tablespoons

Cherry preserve or Cherry Jam/ Jelly 2-3 tablespoons
Chocolate/ Dried fruit mix (I used a Black forest mix) 150g (1 cup)
Melted Chocolate 100g
Chocolate sprinkles

Measuring cup size – 240ml
Baking pan – 25x11x6 cm (3Lb)

Method:

Add all the dry cake ingredients into a larger bowl.
Mix well.
Then add eggs, butter, and milk.
Whisk for about 20-30 seconds.
Give it a mix.
Whisk again for about 20-30 seconds.
Give a final mix.
Add the Chocolate / fruit mix.
Mix gently.

Pour into the lined baking pan.
Now bake at 175c (350f) for about 35-40 minutes.

Take out of the oven.
Poke the warm cake.
Insert the jam/jelly or cherry preserve into the holes.
Spread melted chocolate over the cake.
Add sprinkles.
