Dehydrate them to turn into a powder. Freeze them for later. Make salsa. Make chili. Eat them.

  2. I suggest you try eating them, maybe even ingesting them, if it permits

Mince them up, and mix with ground beef for burgers.

    Warning, do with good ventilation.

Or mince them up and top said burger.

I love a quick pickle for this amount. Slice thin, make a brine of half vinegar and water with some salt and sugar and bring it to a boil . Put sliced habs in a clean jar with maybe some aromatics (garlic, bay leaf, optional). Pour hot brine over. Put lid on and let cool. Put in the refrigerator. Let it sit for a day. Add to anything and everything.

Cut into rings and pickle them in a mix of distilled vinegar, water, a pinch of sugar, cardamom, and some garlic cloves. They goe great on sandwiches and salds or just to snack on.

Habanero chicken fajitas are amazing, you could make some of those and try pickling the rest.

Not enough for a powder, might be enough for flakes. I’d sample one and see what the heat level is. Habs can range from pretty hot to bordering on superhot (Red Savina). The pretty hot range is pretty tolerable for a lot of people. I’ve made nacho cheese with habaneros; love the higher spice level over jalapeños. Salsa Verde is another good use for habs and a pretty simple recipe.

I put whole habaneros in the freezer to preserve them, no prep needed. Just pop in a Ziploc bag. Pull out and chop one or two into chili, salsa, taco meat, etc as needed.

  9. I’d make poppers. Cut in half remove seeds and add cheddar or cream cheese then deep fry. For a nice dipping sauce put some grape or raspberry jam in a bowl.

Mango habanero salsa. Only answer for that quantity as far as I’m concerned.

Maybe stuff them with a rice and bean mix

I’ve always liked a fine dice, on a baked potato with sour cream. Butter and cheese too. Bacon if it’s handy.

Make you some tacos de bistec. Quick Pickle slivered onions, garlic and habanero in lime juice and salt.
Season your 7 cut steak. Hot AF grill. Hard sear both sides 2-3 mins. Mince the cooked steak thoroughly with the fat and all. Heat tortillas in grill. Fill tortillas with meat, pickled onions and habaneros, avocado slices or guacamole, cotija cheese. You get semi authentic northern Mexico tacos.

So many good answers here, but at the simplest level, I usually have a couple on my plate, and take a bite of one with every few bites of my meal.

Chop up 2 or 3 of them, 1 large sweet onion, a handful of fresh cilantro, and maybe a medium tomato. Mix it up in a bowl, and then juice 4-6 plump juicy limes into the bowl. Proceed to scoop up this mixture with a tortilla chip, and then put it in your mouth. Repeat scooping process. If the peppers aren’t very hot, use 5 or 6 instead of 2 or 3.

Make a batch of hot sauce with onions, garlic, and other flavorful ingredients like fruits or veggies to make a sauce. Carrots are popular, so is mango! Go crazy, have fun. Don’t forget some acidity and salt to help preserve it.

  17. WhoIeFoodsPredator

Slightly roast and add a little condensed milk and put in a vitamix and puree it

  18. Pickle 2 of them with carrots, sugar, salt and garlic, then hit them in a high powered blender and you’ll have a banging hot sauce.

Infuse one with tequila! Spicy margaritas!

I’m about to try and make pickled eggs with jalapeno and habeneros?

  21. ChrjoGehsal

I like to slice them up and put them on pizza.

  22. Schadenfreude_Taco

Dice them up super fine and add them to a fruit + yogurt + granola bowl. I recommend using honeycrisp or granny smith apples, cinnamon and coconut chobani zero (or fage 0% with flavored skinny syrup), and ratio coconut granola.

    10g of habaneros + 170g yogurt + 150g apples + 30g granola + 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon = bliss

  23. ShyGuyEchoes

I like to make popcorn on the stove top,
    half a cup kernels
    3 tablespoons coconut oil
And two thin sliced habaneros gets thrown in just before they start to pop.
spicy popcorn and fried pepper treats hidden within..

You already know. It’s always the answer. Up the butt.

Simple chili oil is what i always make with leftover habaneros. In my opinion they are the absolutely best peppers for chili oil.

Slice them up thin, heat a cup or so of oil in a pan, veeery slowly and carefully fry them so they turn golden, put straight into a jar. The oil has a decent kick and app of that sweet, fruity habanero flavor. Absolutely perfect for anything, from noodles to mapo tofu.

  26. Rammipallero

Chili oil or chili jam. I make peruvian style chilli jam and it ise heavenly. Goes great with cheeses for Christmas.

  27. MadMex2U

I use to chop up one pepper with my 3 eggs scrambled. Good way to build up your tolerance.

  28. autobahn-nialist

I dice them up without seeds and quick pickle them in cider vinegar, salt, water and maple syrup.
