




This is preppy kitchen’s recipe for an full size illusion cake! Such a showstopper for the fall season – it was pretty easy, just requires time, patience and trust that enough rounds of shaping buttercream & chilling will result in the pumpkin looking realistic! A tip I recommend is to make extra batches of the orange buttercream and color one darker and another lighter to add an extra layer of dimension after your first coat. Feedback on the cake itself was that it was SUPER moist and not too sweet – so pleasantly surprised
