Palm Beach Thanksgiving celebrants planning on dining out on Nov. 27 are in for a treat: Restaurants on the island aim to serve memorable holiday fare — from turkey-and-fixings to autumn-inspired beef, fish, pasta and other dishes.
Even vegetarian specials will be evident, especially since several restaurants will serve their regular menus as well.
Keep in mind: Advance reservations are required or highly recommended for Thanksgiving. Either way, here’s a taste of what awaits on Nov. 27.
La Goulue
288 S. County Road
A special a la carte Thanksgiving menu at this French bistro will feature various appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Onion soup gratinée ($22), escargots ($28) and pumpkin-and-cheese souffle are among the appetizer selections. Organic turkey with sweet-potato casserole, Brussels sprouts and more is $48.
Other entrees range from wild-mushroom risotto with black winter truffle ($65); seared salmon fillet ($52) with pistachio foam, roasted leek and root-vegetable puree; and grilled lamb chops ($72) with root-vegetable cake and sauteed spinach.
Pumpkin tarte with maple whipped cream ($16) and caramelized pecan tarte ($18) are the special desserts of the day.
Flagler Steakhouse

At this modern-American steakhouse overlooking The Breakers’ Palm Beach golf course, a three-course holiday prix-fixe menu will be offered on Thanksgiving.
The menu ($245 for adults; $75 for children 12 and younger) will feature holiday and steakhouse classics, such as butter-basted turkey-and-fixings, pumpkin pie, bone-in beef filet and Key lime pie.
Henry’s Palm Beach
229 Royal Poinciana Way
Owned and operated by The Breakers and named after the resort’s famed founder Henry Flagler, Henry’s will feature a Thanksgiving turkey special ($72 adults; $25 for children 12 and younger).
The regular menu includes such appetizers as Ahi tuna cones ($29), pigs in a pretzel-dough blanket ($33) and Southern-style onion rings ($20) with horseradish-ranch dipping sauce.
Cedar-plank Antarctic salmon ($48) and wood-grilled filet mignon ($74) are among several entrees offered, including pastas.
For dessert, a Thanksgiving pumpkin-pecan tart ($21) will be offered, plus Henry’s favorites, including Key lime pie ($19).
The Breakers’ Ponce de Leon Ballroom

There’s currently a waitlist for reservations at this elegant ballroom at The Breakers (call 855-388-9992 to secure a waitlist spot).
Set to be adorned top to bottom in “harvest decor,” the ballroom will feature an elaborate holiday buffet ($285 adults; $100 children 12 and younger).
Thanksgiving favorites as well as a variety of other items will be offered, including a wide array of decadent desserts and sweet treats.
Florie’s at the Four Seasons
2800 S. Ocean Blvd.
A lavish Thanksgiving buffet will be featured here with holiday classics and items inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine of Florie’s chef-partner Mauro Colagreco.
A raw bar, salads, appetizers and signature entrees will be featured, including Joyce Farms slow-roasted turkey with side dishes.
Florie’s specialties will include coffee-rubbed dry-aged ribeye and roasted lamb saddle filled with spinach, pine nuts and apricots.
Pumpkin pie and chocolate-pecan pie are among the holiday desserts.
Florie’s buffet is $205 for adults and $75 for children.
Salute Ristorante

In addition to specials and regular-menu favorites, Salute will highlight two Thanksgiving-menu entrees: a turkey feast ($38) or pumpkin gnudi ($32) with almonds, Gorgonzola, amaretti, butter and sage.
Roasted cauliflower velouté ($22) and a red-beet salad ($26) are among the Thanksgiving menu’s special appetizer selections.
Pecan pie with Fior di Latte ice cream, pumpkin pie with salted caramel ice cream, and caramelized apple pie with Tahitian vanilla ice cream are the special Thanksgiving desserts ($16 to $19).
Trevini

In addition to its regular menu, Trevini Ristorante with its indoor and outdoor seating will feature Thanksgiving specials.
Among them: a stuffed zucchini-blossom appetizer ($28) with eggplant tortino, parmesan fonduta and marinara coulis.
A traditional roasted turkey dinner will be offered ($48), plus pumpkin ravioli ($34) with four-cheese sauce, dried-olive crumble and peas coulis.
Pumpkin budino ($18) with toasted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin sauce is Trevini’s special Thanksgiving dessert.
Café Ľ Europe
331 S. County Road
A Thanksgiving dinner menu will be featured at longtime Café L’Europe with its French, Continental and American classics and more.
The prix-fixe menu ($185 adults; $95 children younger than 12) features such appetizer selections as chowder with lobster, corn and butternut squash; an endive-and-arugula salad; and smoked salmon with crème fraiche, caviar and crostini.
A traditional turkey feast with sausage-and-cornbread stuffing, Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and more will be offered, as well as snapper almondine and filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce and frites.
For dessert, look for pumpkin-spice cheesecake, warm pecan tart or chocolate mousse cake.
Lola 41 Palm Beach

A special three-course menu with a choice of two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts and extra side dishes will be offered here for Thanksgiving.
The three-course menu is $85 a person, starting with a choice of wild-mushroom bisque with black truffle and chive, and pomegranate-and-kale salad.
Brown butter-and-sage turkey or peppercorn candied ham are entrée choices — each served with side dishes ranging from French green beans to herbed sourdough stuffing and a toasted corn muffin.
Pumpkin pie and a parfait with vanilla-wafer streusel and mascarpone cream are the featured holiday desserts.
Meat Market
191 Bradley Place
Look for tempting a la carte holiday specials on Thanksgiving at Meat Market, where chefs led by Sean Beasel have created turkey-spotlighting entrees served with sides.
Pumpkin spice-brined turkey breast ($37) will be served with roasted spaghetti-squash cake, sage gravy, brown-butter green beans almondine and cranberry-yuzu marmalade.
Seared turkey roulade ($37) with stuffing, duck sausage, dried cherries and pistachios will be served with cherry chutney and miso-roasted baby carrots.
A Thanksgiving trio ($45) includes the brined turkey breast and seared turkey roulade, plus a bone-in short rib. The trio will be served with succotash, corn pudding, gremolata and other accompaniments.
Café Boulud

At this revered French-American restaurant at The Brazilian Court, a special three-course Thanksgiving menu ($168 at lunch; $220 at dinner; $80 children 10 and younger) is by executive chef Christopher Zabita and pastry chef Rosana Quintero.
Appetizers range from chestnut-celery velouté to tuna Nicoise salad.
Plainville Farms turkey will be served with a honey-glazed breast, turkey leg roulade, cornbread-bacon stuffing, cranberry compote and other side dishes.
Other entrée selections include ½ Dover sole, sweet-potato ravioli and red-wine braised short rub. Pecan tart, pumpkin cheesecake and maple cake with apple frangipane are the special desserts.
Bricktop’s
375 S. County Road
Along with serving its full dinner menu all day long on Thanksgiving, Bricktop’s will feature a Thanksgiving turkey feast for $40.
It includes roasted turkey, herbed stuffing, house-made cranberry sauce, whipped potatoes with gravy, sauteed corn and Hawaiian rolls.
Add a slice of 8-ounce prime rib for $12.
A children’s turkey dinner at Bricktop’s is $10 and includes roast turkey, whipped potatoes and gravy and sauteed corn.
Swifty’s at The Colony
155 Hammon Ave.
In addition to its regular menus, Swifty’s is serving a Thanksgiving special: a choice of feasts served with several side dishes for $85.
Holiday entrees include maple, sage and black-pepper roasted turkey with confit turkey croquette and Madeira-and-caramelized onion gravy; honey-mustard-glazed ham with parsley crema and apple sauce; and roasted Scottish salmon with shellfish velouté. Six side dishes are included, ranging from chestnut, apple and cornbread stuffing, to green bean-and-mushroom casserole.
Desserts for $20 apiece include pecan-and-bourbon pie with sweet potato and roasted pear and white-chocolate gelato; or Granny Smith apple-and-ginger crisp with vanilla ice cream.
Le Bilboquet

As always, this chic French bistro has planned a tempting Thanksgiving menu that will be served in its dining rooms and outdoor courtyard in Via Encantada.
Among the appetizers is butternut squash soup ($21) with sage-and-nutmeg cream, as well as white-truffle risotto ($95).
Le Bilboquet’s popular turkey-by-the-slice option is $44 and includes porcini-mushroom stuffing, gravy and hibiscus cranberries.
Among a variety of holiday dessert options, look for two specials ($18 each): pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream and pecan pie with spiced ice cream.
