My Fred Meyer/Kroger was STOCKED, I was so surprised to see it!
9/10 – this is so much better than their peppermint stick flavor last Christmas. This one is visually so beautiful, the green doesnβt show well in the picture but itβs a light pastel green with a red swirl. I can see the peppermint flakes, and they have a nice snappy crunch to them. What I love the most is the chocolate hearts! Absolutely adorable since itβs Grinch themed, but they pair so well with the fresh peppermint flavor. Theyβre little fudge filled truffles, and from what I could see by spooning through the pint a bit, thereβs a ton of them in there. I had no idea the Grinch had so many hearts π
Iβm definitely going to get another to save for closer to Christmas time! Iβm so excited to add this pint to my empty pint collection, the classic Grinch cartoon is one of my favorites.

I also enjoyed this, and had to eat the whole thing.
Ooh, this looks great. I wonder if Whole Foods will carry it… the one near me had the VL pumpkin cheesecake flavor, but otherwise doesn’t seem to have a lot of seasonal flavors. I might have to make a trip to Fred Meyer before the Thanksgiving madness.
I love peppermint ice creams and have collected a few so far for a holiday taste test β McConnell’s (my favorite), Haagen Dazs Peppermint Bark (haven’t tasted before) and Jeni’s White Chocolate and Peppermint (which I tried, and enjoyed).
Anyone know of any other good ones to try? Graeter’s has a new one out with several other holiday flavors like eggnog and creme brulee … might have to ship some as a holiday gift to myself!
Apparently it is exclusive to Kroger and their various stores so not available here.
