I’d use a StanbyME
In the kitchen on the one day a week I cook for several hours.
As cat entertainment – I’d use this or the similar sized TV on my desk to play videos my housemate’s cats love while I can watch Korean films on the other without a cat blocking the subtitles. (Have to watch their behavior to see which was safest for cats)
I would use a StanbyME all the time at home going from looking up recipes in the kitchen and then rolling it to the living room to look up guitar tablature online and sit down to practice guitar while my food cooks! It would be such a cool product to have
This would be perfect for our small studio apartment. I could change the direction to face the kitchen, to use it for cooking videos, or entertainment while cleaning up. Then move it to watch TV in bed.
I have a small apartment and am currently rolling my tv around on a wobbly trolley to watch tv in bed or do my workouts. it would be great to have it replaced by a pro. also watching my Dramas in the bathtub? sign me up!

As a teacher and a mom who is expecting her second, I’d use the StanbyME in both my professional and personal life. At work, I can use the device to support my students when working in small groups; at home, I’d use it when getting chores done with my kids – while feeding the baby, while resting when on leave from work, while prepping food and bottles. The possibilities would be endless!
I would mainly use it for when I work from home. I would also use it to watch recipes to follow while in kitchen and then drag it to the dining area to watch Korean dramas while eating. I can see myself using this a lot! This would make my life easier and better. Thank you for the opportunity!
Since I’m a moderator I can’t win this event but I know I would be able to use this device for no more than 5 minutes before my two teenagers take it from me and use it to play video games, watch dance tutorials, post TikToks and video call their friends. That’s if my husband doesn’t take it to the garage or home office for conference calls and meetings… so it’s probably best I can’t win because I wouldn’t be able to use it anyway😆
I would use it to play music as I have my breakfast and prepare my meals. I would also use it to watch my favorite Korean shows as I eat my dinner everyday!
I would use it to look at recipes during cooking instead of my laptop that uses a lot of counter space while also playing music or an audiobook to keep me entertained. I’d also use it when I want to work on my laptop on the couch, giving me a secondary screen that I otherwise can only have when I sit at my desk. And I’d bring it to my bedroom for some cozy series watching in bed.
ETA: I’d also love it to stream my favourite series while in the bath. And if possible, I might also read ebooks on it in the bath and turn the page with voice control? That would be sick!
Oh wow, this would be absolutely perfect! I saw it in an ad once and thought about how useful it would be. The rolling feature means I could use it for multiple purposes in multiple rooms–from productivity, presentations, and breakouts to watching TV and playing games to even providing backdrops for D&D sessions and product shots. The rotating feature also means that I could use it for not just landscape work but portrait as well, super handy if I’m prototyping a mobile app for example. I’d definitely get a ton of use out of it!
I would absolutely love and use a StanbyME 2 TV.
I would primarily use the StanbyME 2 TV in my kitchen as I recently started a cooking channel on YouTube and TikTok since I love cooking and want to be a content creator. I cook a lot of Asian dishes for my Vietnamese wife and son. I also love cooking Korean food and regularly make dishes like cheese corn, KBBQ, and tofu and seafood soup. The StanbyME 2 TV would also help me with reviewing and editing footage. I feel like it would be an awesome device to feature in videos, too.
I would also use it to entertain me while I’m cleaning up, and also possibly use it to help my son with his SLP journey. Since it’s a touchscreen, there are some fantastic SLP games he’d be able to play on it.
The whole recipe on a screen larger than my iPad would be amazing. I am learning Korean and would use it for vocab/sentences. Video calls with family. Curious how it would work as a larger than life e-reader 🤔 Hot chocolate and a blanket this winter and not having to hold a tablet sounds kinda awesome. Also trying Enhypen dance choreography, but not recording it 🤣 How rugged is it? Maybe take it outside on a nice day and work on soccer moves.. Showing plays and formations to the kids I coach. This is such a great idea!
I had back surgery earlier this year, and as I have been recovering, I find myself having to take breaks fairly often, and having a tv/tablet that can move with me throughout my living space that I don’t have to carry would be such a blessing! From watching tv in bed, to catching up on emails from the couch, to referencing recipes in the kitchen, this would be such an incredibly helpful tool to have at hand.
Now I wont have to ever leave my bed

I’d use the StanbyME to watch and follow Maangchi’s recipes on Youtube while making some Korean food instead of doing so on my phone and having to get closer to the tiny screen to see details 😭 also for reading her recipes on a big screen and, again, not having to squiiiiint to see what she’s writing 😭😭
(And I would also use it while doing some cardio on my treadmill after having that much yummy Korean food, because you BET I’d have to get fit after those banquets 😂)
This would be a great device for me at my school to use for teaching as I would be able to move it around the classroom for specific students instead of having to rely on my projector on the front screen.

Thanks for doing this! I would use StanbyME in the kitchen while cooking to help look up recipes and follow tutorials. I would also use it to watch videos while doing activities where I don’t have a TV and to stream my gaming on in more comfortable places, like the bedroom.
I live in a small studio apartment and this would be the perfect multi use device to use when I study, work, or leisure! I imagine myself rolling it to my desk when I need it there, and then by my bed or couch if I want to watch tv, and then by the kitchen if im watching a recipe video!
I’m in nursing school so this would be incredibly helpful! I use lay flat notebooks, laptop, and my textbook all at once right now but I could just put use the stanbyme instead! Which would save my poor back for turning patients instead 🙂 not to mention using it for recipes! Yknow when your phone is playing music, hosting a conversation between you and your bestie and also trying to show you the recipe you found for tteokbokki? That’s my phone when I’m cooking but, it’s also usually getting texts from my mom checking in on me about how well I’m doing in school. It would be so awesome to have my entire recipe on the stanbyme andddd to use it for my music videos 🙂
