Glad they put authentic on there, I wasn’t sure what to believe at first

So, garlic salt with dehydrated butter powder added? One could just go get as shaker of popcorn butter at the grocery store and add some garlic… 🙂

I kinda gave up on seasoning rub blends. I usually just sprinkle individual spices on my meat so I can get the proportions right, and change things up when I feel like it.

Feel like it’s 90% salt

This is one of my favorite rubs, it’s great on pizza also. I love pretty much all of his rubs. His recipes are great too, especially for beginners.

No rub needed. Salt and pepper the shit out of the steak, let it sit for 15 minutes, sear all sides, into a 400F oven for 4 minutes per pound. Melt garlic butter on top and serve. Or sometimes, I make a chimichurri and serve.

My opinion is that pre-made rub is a scam… Buy bulk spices and make your own. It is super easy and you can tailor the rub to your personal taste.

Once you start making your own you’ll never go back. Cost wise, it’s night and day as well. Glad you enjoy it though.

Agreed, spray some red wine over it while grilling your steak, perfect combo

First thing I saw was ‘Health Rules’ and I was like, naw, not on my bbq.

It’s one I sprinkle on towards the end of the cook. But there is some funky back-end taste to it that I can’t figure out what it is.

Try Meat Church Blanco on steak.

Prob gonna get flamed but Montreal for pre-mix seasoning. Normally I throw my own together though. Nice to have in a pinch lol

I don’t eat much steak so I can’t comment on that, but the Heath Riles Garlic Butter, Simple Citrus, and Garlic Jalapeno get used more than any other spices/rubs at my house.

I always wished I had a “go to” rub when time is short, especially grilling thin cuts over direct. Would love honest recommendations

I really don’t like seasonings that fake a certain flavor. If you want it to taste like butter, then just put butter on it.
