Gnocchi alla Gorgonzola — a rich, creamy, Northern Italian classic made with a butter-garlic base, melted gorgonzola, nutmeg, and finished with toasted walnuts + a drizzle of honey.
It’s simple, indulgent, and perfect for cold weather comfort. 🧀🍯

🧂 Ingredients (2 servings)

• 300g potato gnocchi
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 garlic clove, finely diced
• 150–200 ml heavy cream
• 30–40g gorgonzola (dolce or piccante)
• 20–30g Grana Padano, grated
• Salt and black pepper
• 1 pinch nutmeg
• Handful of walnuts, crushed
• Honey for finishing

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté the finely diced garlic until fragrant (don’t brown it).

Pour in the cream and warm it gently.

Add the gorgonzola and Grana Padano, stirring until fully melted and silky.

Season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.

Cook the gnocchi until they float, then transfer directly into the sauce.

Simmer for 1–2 minutes to thicken and coat evenly.

Serve topped with crushed walnuts and a light drizzle of honey.

Creamy, tangy, nutty, sweet — the perfect balance in every bite.
If you love blue cheese pasta, this version will become a go-to. 🇮🇹✨
