i suspect prices will drop soon with beef tarif relief, but i scooped one up and have it in a umai, dry aging bag. going to have some awesome steaks to cook around xmas time!

What was cost? Usually here they do whole primals around $4.70lb around Xmas. Bit more butchering but get 2-3 every year.

Man I wish my local Costco had deals like this, thats a crazy price for prime ribeye. Id stock up for the whole winter if I saw that, legit jealous right now

I was just at my Costco and whole choice strip loin was 9.99/lb. I thought that was actually pretty good considering recent times.

That’s exactly how I do it and have done the last couple years. I wait till they go on sale and then I buy in bulk. No other way to realistically afford this because prices are off the chart stupid. I vacuum and seal them and it just becomes a treat.

Damn, OP telling everyone to take advantage of an expired sale is ice cold. 😂

Meh, price was still high per pound after taking 75 off.

Great come up. Just a suggestion based on the pics, try freezing them a little before sealing them. Helps keep the juices inside the meat and doesn’t allow them to get sucked out during vacuum.

I should have gone to Costco alone my wife told me no. 😢

Ribeye is so fatty is there really a huge difference between prime and choice?

That’s still more expensive than the grass-fed boneless ribeye at Costco Business Center.

Aren’t these sales based locally? Or does costco always mark down like this nation wide?
