🌱 CHOCOLATE–CHERRY BLACK BEAN SMOOTHIE RECIPE (6 options)

• 3/4 cup soy milk (Add more if needed)
• 1 cup cooked black beans (rinsed)
• 1 tbsp chia seeds
• 1 tbsp PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
• 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
• ½ banana
• Small handful of frozen tart cherries
• Monk fruit sweetener (optional)

Macros (approx):
Calories: 470–490
Protein: 30 g
Fiber: 27–28 g

If you need more milk – I do often…
Remove cherries + Add ½ cup soy milk
(BEST overall: same calories, HIGHER protein, more volume)

• 1¼ cups soy milk
• 1 cup black beans
• 1 tbsp chia seeds
• 1 tbsp PB2
• 1 tbsp cocoa
• ½ banana
• Monk fruit
• Ice
(NO cherries)

Macros (approx):
Calories: 470–490
Protein: 31–32 g
Fiber: 26–27 g

The smoothie that helped me lose 10 pounds has black beans in it. I know. Just stick with me for a moment before you click away. This tastes like a chocolate shake and it keeps me full for hours. And in this video, I’m going to show you exactly how I make it and then I’m going to explain why it works so well for weight loss. Hey you guys, welcome back to the channel. My name is Tia and if you are struggling to get healthy, lose weight in an easy way that keeps you full and satisfied, or maybe you just want some healthy, quick and easy meals, I’m telling you, this is the channel for you. Make sure you stick around and hit that subscribe button because here I share with you exactly how I lost 50 lbs easily eating more food, not less. All right, so let’s get into making this smoothie. And make sure you stick around until after we make it because that’s when I’m going to get into why this smoothie works so well for weight loss and how you can use the same strategy for any meal. To make this, you’ll need 3/4 of a cup of soy milk. Now, you can use any milk you like, but soy milk is going to add extra protein for you. About one cup of cooked black beans. I just use drained, no salt added, canned black beans. And yes, I did say about one cup. 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of PB2 powder. Now, this is literally just crushed up peanuts, salt, and water. I’m going to do half a banana for a little sweetness. Now, you can leave this out if you want to save on calories. We are going to add or I’m going to add monk fruit sweetener. You can do whatever sweetener of choice you want. You could do a whole banana. Um you could do maple syrup, but that that’s going to add that’s going to change the calories. So I like to do half a banana and then some monk fruit sweetener because that adds sweetness with not adding more calories. So if you wanted to leave out the banana and do more monk fruit sweetener, you could certainly do that, too. I’m adding the monk fruit sweetener right now. I do about a tablespoon. And then I’m going to add a little bit of dark sweet cherries. These add a little hint of brightness and make this like a chocolate cherry smoothie. It’s amazing. We’ll just add a couple more. When you blend this, it becomes like a rich chocolatey and super creamy like a healthy frosty. And no, you absolutely cannot taste the black beans. Okay. And here’s where things get really interesting. Maybe you’re eating healthy and you’re still not losing weight. or shortly after you eat a meal, you’re still hungry. This smoothie, it’s going to blow your mind. It comes out to around 450 to maybe close to 500 calories, depending on if you add more cherries or maybe you need a little bit more of the soy milk, but still, that’s great for a meal. It has 30 g of protein, okay? So, we’re not using any junky protein powders. And it has 28 g of fiber. Again, that can go up and down the protein and the fiber depending on if you add more cherries, if you add more soy milk, the protein will absolutely go up. Smoothies like this, meals like this are the reason I was able to lose 50 lbs and even this 10 lbs right now so easy feeling full and satisfied. The calories are coming from foods that actually keep you full, not foods that make you starving. All right, now let’s talk about why this works. Because once you understand it, you can apply it to any meal. Foods that are high in protein and fiber are great for weight loss. Protein stabilizes blood sugar. It boosts metabolism, and it keeps your appetite steady so you’re not feeling starving. Now, fiber will slow digestion. It fills your stomach. It balances your blood sugar. It prevents cravings, which is one of my favorite things it does, and it gives your body that longlasting fullness feeling that dieting usually takes away. Now, black beans are full of both, which is why it’s one of the best weight loss foods. But people usually don’t think about it as a weight loss food. Think about it. You’re getting like an entire day’s worth of fiber in one smoothie. That’s why you stay full for hours, and that’s why the scale will start moving. This smoothie has been a huge part of my full-on plants reset that I’ve been doing to lose 10 lbs. It’s fast, it’s affordable, and it checks every single box for sustainable weight loss. It has fiber. It has protein. It’s high volume. And it’s super satisfying. On the days I drink this, I’m not thinking about food. There’s no cravings. Just stable energy and feeling full.   1. Thanks for watching. One thing to note – I accidentally edited out the part where I add unsweet cocoa powder, that is what makes it chocolatey. Sorry about that but in the description you’ll find the ingredients and yes, the cocoa powder is in there.

  2. If anyone is having hot flashes use soybeans in your smoothie and drink one every day and they should go away or at least lessen. I’ve started using black soybeans for more health benefits but the regular soybeans work the same.
