**Note:**
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that adults consume < 5 grams of salt per day, about 1 teaspoon, which is equivalent to < 2 grams of sodium. This helps prevent high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Since I was using shrimps from the sea, even after multiple washes, they still contain natural salt from the sea water. So, I didn’t add any extra salt at all.
If you are using river shrimps (that’s pretty rare in market but still you can buy them in some regions or countries) and prefer a saltier taste, you may consider adding some salt, but not too much, <5 g, good for your health.
