    I’m the third type. Completely taut plastic window on top and wrap pulled tightly under the rim where it’s invisible from the side view

    Very, very accurate!! I’m definitely the right I like a clean look but sometimes the left is needed when in a pinch

    Not in the industry anymore but I have the giant Costco roll at home (because who could go back to Saran Wrap after working in a kitchen?) Right is me. Left is my kids wrapping leftover pizza.

    Take a sheet of plastic wrap over the top and tuck under the rim, then take another piece of plastic wrap and tuck it again exactly the same way. Now press down on the top of both pieces of wrap while keeping the tucked edges taught. It will create a rigid airtight seal. You can even stack pans like this and it won’t collapse.
