They tried to make them from scratch. I had a small bite of these cinnamon rolls. They were dry and hard asf.

    Possible too old. Possible they just don’t know what they are doing.

    I have successfully used yeast that expired a decade earlier. I leave open packets sitting on my spice shelf. How i use it is extremely frugal. I add a pinch of it, just a few granuals, to introduce it to a dough. A full day before baking. So it has time to grow. Works for me. Takes a long time to use up a packet this way.

    Considered sourdough but i don’t use enough bread to justify the effort
